Production Lines

Production at Lockwoods Italiana is carried out on three production lines, technologically avant-garde, for the food preparation, packing and packaging sector.

The acquisition and implementation of the production lines is based on very close working relations, wanted by the company’s top management, with the top technicians of reference customers.

This collaboration has enabled both management and all the operators to acquire a high degree of professionalism, skills and expertise.

The line can fill 330 ml and 500 ml cans and 200 ml and 250 ml slim cans with SOT tabs.

Sasib – Simonazzi canned beverages line

Lockwoods Italiana has a canned beverages line with automatic packaging systems, which produces 600 strikes/minute.

The line can fill 330 ml and 500 ml cans and 200 ml and 250 ml slim cans with SOT tabs.

The canned beverages line includes:

• a pasteurisation plant;
• the possibility of having an automatic connection with the static sterilization autoclaves, particularly for the coffee-based and cold cappuccino beverages;
• equipment for bottling nitrogen-injected beverages;
• a film wrapping system.

Juices and Beverages in Glass Line Sasib - Simonazzi

The juices and beverages in glass line of Lockwoods Italiana is fully automatic and produces 450 strikes/minute and can fill 200 ml screw cap bottles, 55 or 60 in diameter.

The line includes:

• a heating system for thermal treatment which improves product stability;
• a carton and film wrap packing-packaging system.

Vegetables Line

The vegetables line at Lockwoods Italiana is completely automatic and produces 2,000 kg of dry product/hour and can fill 500 g, 1 kg and 3 kg tins.

The line includes:

• a vacuum filling machine;
• an oxygen-scavenging unit (pre-sealing) for removing oxygen;
• three computerised static autoclaves for sterilisation;
• labelling machines in three formats;
• a clustering machine for 0.5 kg;
• an end-of-line palletizer.
