Lockwoods Italiana relies on internal and external laboratories for the analysis and quality control of products.

Internal Laboratory

The internal laboratory conducts analyses every hour and uses certified apparatus such as:

• titrators;
• pH meters;
• refractometers;
• conductometers.

The internal laboratory carries out analyses on the following parameters:

• Brix;
• acidity;
• vitamin C;
• minerals.

External Laboratories

Lockwoods Italiana LIF Spa uses external laboratories to carry out:

• microbiological research which, moreover, can also be carried out in-house by qualified personnel;
• experimental research;
• definition of energy values;
• water analysis.

In addition, Lockwoods Italiana uses external laboratories, on the contractual request of customers, to obtain certifications for every processing cycle.

In order to guarantee food safety, the company has chosen to work only with external laboratories certified by bodies accredited by Sincert and authorized by the Ministry of Health.
